Julian Wilshaw CoC (Asbestos)
Julian has worked within the field of asbestos management since 2000, holding senior positions within private consultancies and with Staffordshire County Council's Asbestos Unit. He has also worked on major asbestos projects in Saudi Arabia.
Julian joined SB Asbestos Management Ltd in 2010 and is the sole director, and a shareholder of the company. His areas of expertise include site surveys for asbestos containing materials, asbestos risk assessment, UKATA Asbestos Awareness training, and contract management.
Steve Shutler is a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner.
Following employment as a health and safety enforcement official he entered asbestos consultancy in 1985 as owner/manager of a major UKAS accredited asbestos testing laboratory before its acquisition by a European testing house in 2004. He has also worked in asbestos removal contracting where he held the position of technical director.
More recently he formed SB Asbestos Management to provide the highest quality asbestos consultancy services,
Recognised as one of the country’s leading professionals in his field he has spoken widely on asbestos related subjects including at The International Conference on Analytical Methods for Asbestos in Venice. Steve has served as a member of the governing council of The Asbestos Removal Contractor’s Association (ARCA) and has been Chairman of the Midland Branch of ARCA.
He is also an examiner for The Certificate of Competence in Asbestos examinations from The British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS).
