*To gather information necessary to effectively manage the risks that asbestos may present on a day to day basis to employees, the public and maintenance staff
*To quantify asbestos materials to allow for avoidance or for controlled removal prior to refurbishment or demolition
* For valuation or other purposes such as integration in to a major premises condition survey.
The purpose, scope and extent of the survey is agreed in advance to ensure that the client’s needs are fully met upon completion.
Reports normally include material and/or priority risk assessments, to either the HSE format or to bespoke criteria, marked up drawings and photographs with recommendations as appropriate.
